Whimsy Stamps Do You DARE Deb Instagram Hop

Whimsy Stamps was saddened to cancel the annual 31 Nights of Halloween event this year after Hurricane Ian. But, this time of year is the absolute most favorite time of year for Whimsy Creative Director, Deb Davis. We couldn’t let Halloween pass us by without celebrating our Queen of Halloween with some EEK! worthy Halloween creations!

My creation for the Instagram Hop uses many Whimsy Stamps products that Deb designed. My inspiration was Disney's Evil Queen's lair from the Snow White attraction at Disneyland.

This is the video tutorial for the Instagram Hop Project.

Thank you so much for stopping by during the hop to see how I made this card. Be sure to return to Instagram to continue with the hop. You are going to the next hopper here.

Have a creative day,
Tami

I made a small vignette with the Cutie Batootie Stamps and Dies designed by Deb Davis.
It lights up with a subtle green glow.

I hope you enjoyed the tutorial and be sure to visit all of the videos in the hop, subscribe to the channels and comment on each one to be included in the contest. Good luck!

Another fantastic release from Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous! And the inspiration from the makers as well as from Tim’s demos, tips, and tricks afterward were pehnomenal. You definitely want to catch the replay. So much festive goodness to behold!

I have links to all the stamps and stencils released today, the exclusive clear sets, and even the older stamps Tim used in his demo at the bottom of this post. Hope it is helpful!

Stamped with Distress Watercolor Pencils and then colored in with a water brush.
All of these were stamped in Distress Watercolor pencils.

Thank you so much for stopping by and stay tuned for Christmas Tutorials starting in November. I still have Halloween stuff to post. It's that crazy time of year!

Have a very creative day,

Tim Holtz Christmas Idea-ology

Tim Holtz Christmas Idea-ology is officially released! I know it’s been available for a month now, but it’s not official until we hear all the details from the man himself and today was the day!

If you missed it you can catch the replay on the Tim Holtz YouTube channel and see the makes and the links on Timholtz.com
I made this festive Department Store Window clock using lots of Tim Holtz Christmas Idea-ology.
I had an absolute blast making this Santa’s Post Office and trying to figuring out what might be in Santa’s Post Office. It’s really a blast to sit back and try to let your mind imagine.

It was so much fun dreaming up this candy cart. I actually started this project last Christmas but didn’t get it finished. So this year with the new Candy Cane Confections, it was the perfect time.

I will have blog posts and video tutorials for each of my Christmas makes, but I’ll start those in November. So thank you for your patience.

❤️❤️❤️Many, many, many thanks for all of your very kind comments during the live and on my posts. You are all truly so sweet and I’m beyond grateful for the support and encouragement. ❤️❤️❤️

 Have a festively creative day,

Tami

Pumpkin Spice Pandas - Whimsy Stamps

These little Pumpkin Spice Pandas are so cute! I decided to make a fun pair of fall/Halloween cards with them and I added a few other Whimsy Stamps products to complete them.
I found the making process for these cards to be really enjoyable and relaxing and I hope that comes across in this tutorial.
Here are some close ups of both cards I made. Affiliate links to all of the products I used are at the end of the post.

A note from Whimsy Stamps in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian:
“The Whimsy warehouse is back up and running and all orders placed prior to 10/7 have now been shipped and are on the way to customers. We expect to be back to normal shipping times moving forward. We can't thank you all enough for your understanding and words of encouragement. The support and caring you have shown our team has been truly wonderful and much needed. We appreciate our customers SO much and we are grateful to each of you. THANK YOU! ❤️“

Have a creative day,

Tami

Twig and Stump - Sizzix and Distress

Oh my goodness! Twig and Stump from Tim Holtz and Sizzix are so adorable and they are fun to place in different holiday scenarios. I put them in a tree decorating scene and they are a cold mess aren't they? And that Tree Ring 3D Texture Fade is incredible! WOW!
I made a video tutorial of this project.

I used a bit of seasonal Distress from Tim Holtz and Ranger Ink on this project because the details make all the difference friends! Snowfall Grit Paste, Mica Stains and my new fave Gray Two Tone Woodgrain Cardstock took this project to the next level.

I am just so amazed at that tree ring 3D folder. It is SO GOOD!!
The Gray Two Tone Woodgrain paper is fabulous by itself and super fun colored with Distress Mica Stains like I did on the scarves, hats and tree baubles.

Idea-ology Christmas Tiny Lights really helped add to the silliness of this make.
Just look at the Gray Two Tone Woodgrain! Seriously so good! I'm glad I ordered a bunch. Don't worry, I left you some but don't wait too long.
You can cut three arms at once so you layer them together and they are strong enough to hold things like Tiny Lights.
I love that the Grey Woodgrain turned striped when I colored it with Mica Stain. So fun and with very little effort.
I hope you enjoyed this quick tutorial and seeing how I used some of the new Distress items in a make.

Have a festively creative day,

Tami
