Sympathy Bouquet 2 - Whimsy Stamps

Sadly, I have found myself in need of some sympathy cards, but I am so thankful that Whimsy Stamps has some gorgeous Quick Card Fronts that I can use to make several cards in a very short amount of time.

This tutorial walks you through my first go at using the Quick Card Fronts and I think you will fall in love with the time saving aspect of these beautiful cards as much as I did.

If you would like to make some of these cards as well, below are my affiliate links to the products I used in this video.

Distress Watercolor Pencils - Sets 4, 5 and 6

My love for the Distress Watercolor Pencils runs deep. I have the pencils and their respective shavings palettes on my work counter within reaching distance. I even took them with me on my last two vacations. 😂 They’re part of the family.

This card was made with only Distress Pencils. I didn’t use any inks, oxides, or paints. I could have, but I wanted to try and make something with only Distress Pencils to see if it was possible. You know to answer one of those…”if you could take only one medium with you on a deserted island, what would it be?” kind of questions. Well now I can say Watercolor Pencils. They are easy to take with me, compact enough to keep on my work surface, and versatile enough that if I had to, I could use only pencils and still achieve a lovely card. Thankfully they play well with other mediums, but now I know I could use only pencils if I had to. 😊

I also made this card on launch day with the Distress Watercolor Pencils, a heart stencil and

Have you gotten the complete palette yet?

Have a creative day,
