A Swinging Wake - Sizzix Halloween

Hello Makers! Today's project was made for Tim Holtz Sizzix Halloween release. It incorporates not only Sizzix but also some Idea-ology. The inspiration for this piece was my favorite Swinging Wake in Disneyland's Haunted Mansion.

 

I did make a video tutorial of this project that I hope you will find helpful in some manner. 

I made small sconces out of the shelf from the SideOrder Laboratory dies.

The wreath, coffin spray and small urn all hold flower arrangements made with the Fall Foiliage wreath and flowers.

The Coffin box was cut from paper from the Charcoal Palette papers.

I only used Mr Bones' hands to hold up the lid of the coffin. You could easily put a light in this but I kept this one simple.

This is the smaller urn, also using I dea-ology and Fal Foliage.

The Black Heavystock and Batground 2D E bossing folder are fabulous here.

I got the bats to stand out more by running my Black Soot Oxide ink pad over it.

The title was cut from the Purple Palette paper that I used to cover the inside of the Vignette Box. A Swinging was cut from the alpha with the Coffin Box and wake is the word wicked from Gothic Portraits and I just rearranged the letters a bit.
