I love both of the techniques Tim used for his January tag, so I thought it would be fun to make some using pinks and black so they would match my Valentine decor. It was such fun to dig into my Ranger and Ideaology stuff and just have some fun getting inky.
I do the paint technique a little different than Tim does but we get similar results.
I used a mixture of red chalk and white chalk for these tags.

These tags are amazing! What do you plan to do with them? How do you display them?
Thank you! They are currently displayed at my LSS, but when I get them back, I display my tags two different ways
. One way is that I paint Dollar Tree frames and display them on a wall or piece of furniture.
The other thing I do is display them on one of the window panes on the old window shelf I have hanging in my bathroom.
I try to go through and look at all the tags each month but there were so many this month that I couldn't do it. I am glad you won so I could visit your blog. I really like your 3 tags. They go together great.
Tamera ... these are fantastic! I love your color choices (especially the colored chalk!) and the valentine theme. Gorgeous! Wonderful take on Tim's techniques. Congrats on your win on Tim's blog -- so well-deserved. -- Mary Elizabeth
