Blimey Pirates - Whimsy Stamps

This slimline card was made with the new pirate release from Whimsy Stamps. As you know I'm kind of having a pirate vibe with my Halloween makes this year and I was so exited to see this release! The pirate faces make me laugh. So please join me as we make a Blimey card.

Here is the video tutorial.

The pirates and sentiments from Blimey Pirates were stamped in Black Soot Distress Ink on Distress Watercolor Cardstock and colored with Distress Stain and a waterbrush.

The window sea and sky were a mixture of Tumbled Glass Distress Spray Stain and Distress Watercolor Pencils.
The Kracken is a small stamp from the Treasure Map stamp set.
This sentiment was colored with Lumberjack Plaid.
It's the same with all of the other sentiments and pirates.
I used Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs Spray Stain to watercolor the skulls.
A few more images from Treasure Map.
Lumberjack Plaid and Gathered Twigs
The Wobbly Windows Slimline Die was cut from Distressed Cracked Leather Cardstock,
The bandana is Lumberjack Plaid.
I hope the video was helpful and having the photos and colors here was beneficial as well.

Thank you so very much for visiting! I truly appreciate it!

Have a creative day,

Tami

The little scenes are so clever behind each fierce but funny pirate. I LOVE how you altered the third scene to bring better balance to the card too, no one would ever know the first ship is behind the pirate! So many wonderful details of your crafty adventure, I absolutely love this make! That leather paper, swoon, awesome choice and love the colour finish! I so need an inky binky now! I use way too many paper towels! Sensational make Tami. Hugs, Wends xoxo
