Trashin the Camp

Another challenge for the Disney Scrappers' National Scrapbook Weekend challenges.  This challenge was to do a Disney layout using paint AND inspired by a Disney song.  The song is pretty obvious, Trashin the Camp by Phil Collins from the movie Tarzan.

As the journaling says, we met Terk earlier in the morning over at the critter breakfast in the Storytellers Cafe, but we had never met Jane.  As we wandered into Disneyland a few hours later, we saw them both posing for photos at the front of the park.  Other than on Christmas Eve, this is the only time we have seen her out.

The painting on my layout is on the lace ribbon (it was brown and I painted it yellow) and the chipboard letters.  I actually didn't have an "m" so I used two "u's" to fashion one "m" and then painted the letters from two different colored alphabets so they matched. The paper and embellishments are some old, K& Co.

If you have never seen Tarzan, or if it has been awhile, here is a link to the song that inspired this layout.
