I stamped on a 5x7 piece of Distress Mixed Media Heavystock then I inked the Glorious Gatherings stamp with Ranger Inkessentials Clear Watermark Resist and let it dry. Once it was dry I used a blending tool with Brushed Corduroy and Vintage Photo Distress Inks and inked over the entire surface. I don't know if this is how it was supposed to turn out, but it kind of grabbed the ink and made a light patterned background. Nice and subtle. I love it!
I stamped the Glorious Gatherings in Ground Espresso Archival Ink and then watercolored it with Distress Inks.
I finished it off with some machine stitching and tied a bit of Crafter's Thread along the left side.
Have a creative day,
Tami

I have this stamp but have yet to play with it! I’ve got to get busy because it is simply wonderful and especially colored like this. I like how you layered it, definitely inspiration to break in this glorious gathering stamp! #timholtzchristmas2018
I was excited to get this stamp, but I have yet to play with it either...for some reason this one intimidates me...I just have to remember to only use part of it and not worry about my water coloring...the perfectionist in me gets in the way at times...LOL. Yours looks great, I just have to take the plunge...#timholtzchristmas2018
