All Geared Up

This is kind of a funny story, and I wrote about it on the tag behind one of the photos.  On a quick trip to Disneyland, my mom and I bought the entire family Disneyland t-shirts for a family trip we were planning later in the year.
The time came and we all donned out t-shirts and wore them around the parks.  We wanted a family picture in front of Grizzly Peak, so we got ready and posed and the photographer started snapping away.  Then he kind of stopped, pointed at my DH and said, "Hey, was he the only one who went to Disney World?"  We just looked at the poor guy like he had grown a third head.
I said, "No, none of us have ever been to Disney WORLD, why?"  He pointed to DH's shirt and sure enough, his was the only one that said Walt Disney World!  But we bought it at DisneyLAND!  The photographer thought it was funny so he had us take a picture pointing at DH in his WDW shirt.

Again, this is a really simple layout I made for a class, so there aren't any details or major techniques to explain.  The paper is from a company that was called Scrap Within Reach.

For the gears, I adhered dictionary paper to grungeboard and cut it out with the Tim Holtz gear die.  then I inked them with Distress Ink.

Here are some close-ups of the shirts.  We still can't figure out why they had a WDW shirt for sale on Main Street in Disneyland.
