Mahalo - The Sassy Club

I have been really into tiki stuff lately so I pulled these tiki stamp sets I bought from The Sassy Club awhile back, and paired them with some paper from the Enchanted Paper Pack also from The Sassy Club.  These are the two cards I have made so far.
I stamped the images from both tiki stamp sets onto some Distress Watercolor Cardstock with Black Soot Distress Archival, and then colored them with Distress Watercolor Pencils. The stamp sets used are Tiki Bar and Sassy Tiki. The papers are from Enchanted Paper Pack. I am not an affiliate with The Sassy club and these are not affiliate links.
When they were dry, I fussy cut them with Tim Holtz Tonic Haberdashery scissors.
The background paper on the first card is from the Enchanted paper pack. I cut an oval out of vellum and placed it behind the bird and bamboo hanger so the images stood out of the fun, but busy background.
I just chose the simple Mahalo (thank you) sentiment and matted it with a small piece of the wood grain paper from Enchanted and a piece of Watercolor Csrdtock colore dwith Distress Pencils.

This second card is on a piece of Watercolor cardstock that I stamped the small flower from the Tiki sets all over the background in different colors of Distress Archival Ink. Then I stamped the single hibiscus stamp in Hickory Smoke Distress Archival ink and colored them in with red and yellow Distress Watercolor Pencils.
I went around the outside edge of the samped background with 1/4" strips of woodgrain paper from the Enchanted paper pack.
I cut a rectangle from vellum to soften the stamped background and then popped the stamped images up on the vellum and added the mahalo sentiment.

I did add some sewing detail on each card

The large card base is colored with an aqua Distress Watercolor Pencil.

I hope you like these fun and simple tiki cards. Thanks for visiting.

Have a creative day,

Tami
