Christmas Bells - Stampers Anonymous

For this Christmas Bells card I used a lot of Distress products to create a vintage Christmas card.

Here is a talk through of these photos and this tutorial if that works better for you.

You want to gather your products first. These are some of the items I used. A complete list is below.
Begin by stamping the bells from Department Store onto a piece of Mixed Media Heavystock with clear Embossing Ink and then heat emboss with Scorched Timber Distress Glaze.

Color the bells with Wild Honey and Fossilized Amber Distress Ink.

It is easiest to color it with a water brush.

Color the greenery with Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink and Spritz.

I wanted the berries a little darker so I colored them with Aged Mahogany and Fired Brick.

The ribbon was Candied Apple and Lumberjack Plaid.

Once the coloring was done and dry I fussy cut around the image leaving a thin outline.
For the background I repeat stamped the music from Department Store in Clear Embossing Ink on a piece of Distress mixed Media Heavystock, then embossed it with Lost Shadow Distress Embossing Glaze.
Spray the background with some water and Hickory Smoke Spritz.

When the background is dry, put some Twinkle Texture Paste through the Sparkle THS132 stencil over the whole background.
Let the Twinkle Texture Paste Dry.
On another piece of Mixed Media Heavystock, blend some Lumberjack Plaid around the outside edge and spray with Lumberjack Plaid Spritz. Let Dry.
Ink around the edges with Scorched Timber Distress Ink.
Stamp the sentiment from Department Store on a piece of Mixed Media Heavystock in Scorched Timber and emboss with Distress Embossing Glaze. Then fussy cut it out.
Color the edges with Lumberjack Plaid.
Put a drop of Glossy Accents on each berry and let dry.
Now make a card base and attach the red mat covering the front of the card base. Then put the music background in the middle and pop the image and the sentiment off the background with foam squares.

Thanks for reading this far! I’m happy to answer any questions you may have.
