This week we are celebrating National Scrapbook Day on the Disney Scrappers site with our annual week-long online crop. There are usually between 15-20 challenges and we have some fun Disney Themed prizes for qualifying participants. I've posted a few of my challenge samples below.
Fresh Brewed Fun
For this challenge we were to use park or resort maps on a layout either as a paper element, a border, an embellishment or a title. Here Ive used it as title letters and background paper.
The paper I used was Radient by Authentique and the title, coffee, and circle dies were all Tim Holtz Sizzix Alterations.
No. 3 Fred Gurley
This sample was for the stamping challenge. We were to make stamping a prominent feature of the layout. For this layout I used three stamp sets from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous called Merchant CMS331 for the number, Worn Text CMS156 for the Lettering, and all of the railroad elements, including the train, rail border, background on the grey striped paper, and the railroad crossing sign were all from the On the Railroad CMS127 sets.
Tiki Maynard
Stenciling Challenge - I used multiple stencils on this layout, all from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous. The background, flowers, leaves, tags and large photo mat were all made with stencils and Distress Oxides. See how easy it is to make your own paper in the case of the Scrapbook apocolypse? LOL. I always want to be prepared.
