I have realized that I am going to need to stick with simpler is better for the time being if I am to get anything done. So here it is. Nothing special or fancy about it, but I love the pictures and am please with the layout.
This layout follows a sketch by Susan Stringfellow for Basic Grey. I got it off their blog.
I used MME Collectible paper and embellishments for this layout. Because of the archery theme in Merida's photo spot and the archery range they had set up, I thought all the arrows and chevrons were perfect.
I hand cut the round elements from one of the paper pieces for this layout and yes, arranged them in a Hidden Mickey. If you look in the bottom right corner, this is the photo that made me think of these photos for the inspiration challenge.
The little metal accents are from 7 Gypsies
The chevron arrows below are actually some October Afternoon paper. I inked them slightly to make them look like the plaid worn by Merida and draped over the cart in the photo below.
If you would like to see the photo spot (which is no longer there) in more detail, I made a detailed blog post about it on my Disneyland Diva blog here.

Awesome layout! I love Susan's sketches. Love your paper selection!
How fun is this?? The papers are perfection. Your interpretation of Susan's sketch is wonderful. And what a fun photo spot. Really too bad it's not there anymore!
